Multilingualism and Identity: Interdisciplinary Perspectives

as part of the AHRC funded OWRI research project, Multilingualism: Empowering Individuals, Transforming Societies (MEITS)

Abstracts are invited for presentations at the conference. Papers should address explicitly issues of identity and multilingualism. We particularly welcome submissions which take an interdisciplinary approach to the topic. 

 

  1. Abstracts of a maximum of 350 words should be submitted via EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=miip2019)
  2. Proposals should be for an oral presentation (length of presentation: 20 + 10 min.)
  3. Submissions must be anonymous and all author-related file properties must be removed, though please state if you are an Early Career researcher. Please include 4 keywords right below the title of the abstract. The working language of the conference is English.

 

Important Dates

 

  1. The submission of abstracts opens on 1 December (GMT: 00:01 am) 2018 and closes on 4 February (GMT: 11:59 pm) 2019.
  2. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by Monday 4 March 2019. Only those with successful submissions will be contacted.
