Dear Colleagues: I am pleased to let you know that registration for the Canadian Symposium on Academic Integrity<https://go.ucalgary.ca/Academic-Integrity.html>, April 17-18, 2019 is now open. This symposium will bring together educational leaders, researchers, educators and other advocates of academic integrity to mobilize knowledge, share ideas and elevate and amplify how we tackle the complexities of academic integrity across Canadian campuses. The event will be held on the University of Calgary main campus, located in Northwest Calgary. Our keynote speaker is Dr. Tracey Bretag<https://go.ucalgary.ca/Academic-Integrity.html>, an international expert on educational integrity from the University of South Australia. Symposium Registration Information: We welcome participants from all regions of Canada. We already have participants registered from Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan! There are two components to the symposium: * Free Pre-Conference – Morning of April 17, 2019 – This session will be specifically designed front line staff who deal with breaches of integrity as part of their daily work. Space for the no-cost Pre-Conference will be limited, so I encourage people to register straight away for that. * Symposium – Evening of April 17 and all day, April 18 – There will be a $65 charge for the main symposium. The way the website is set up, there is a separate registration for the pre-conference and the main symposium. If you wish to attend both, you’ll need to register for each one separately. Call for Proposals: The call for presentation proposals is now live: https://ocs.ucalgary.ca/index.php/CSAI/2019CSAI/about/submissions#onlineSubmissions All submissions will undergo double-blind peer review. Selected peer-reviewed proceedings will be published after the symposium. Deadline for proposals: January 15, 2019.
