There’s still time to apply for the post of Electronic Resources Manager at the University of Salford.

 

We are seeking a talented, passionate Electronic Resources Manager to join the Collections, Content and Digital Innovations Team. The Electronic Resources Manager is responsible for the acquisition and management of serials and electronic resources (for example, databases, electronic journals, electronic books) and ensuring that electronic library collections are organised and maintained in a manner which optimises usage and exploitation. You will be committed to seeking out developments in electronic resource provision and management, and have an understanding of changes in the wider HE landscape. 

You will be a strong and approachable manager that will enable and support high performance, be able to build relationships with suppliers and take a major role in policy development. Results-orientated, you will have excellent analytical skills. Moreover, you will be a crucial member of the Collections Team and you will be able to work collaboratively will colleagues across the library. You will have a proactive approach to your work. Excellent customer service skills are an essential part of the role. 

This is a permanent, full-time role at Grade 7 (£33,199- £39,609). The closing date is 23:59 on 17th December and interviews are expected to take place on Friday 11th January 2019. Full particulars about this role and the application form are available here.
