Dear Friendly Helpful GridPP-Storage folk,

Bristol lcgse01 dmlite-with-hdfs was setup by Dr K using puppet modules.

We thought IPv6 was all setup+working on lcgse01 & its HeavyLifter gridftp
node io-37-02.acrc.bris.ac.uk (which we call io02).

It turns out to our dismay that when from an IPv6 node (eg at CERN, or an
IPv6 storage node), lcgse01 is instructed to do a transfer, it hands the
request off to IPv4-named io02, not IPv6, see ggus ticket 131613.
Thus IPv6 gridftp does not work at Bristol.

Dr K is a WiseGuy & might be able to dig thru the puppet stuff (me not v
familiar with puppet, or dmlite) but he's unfunded & REAL busy with other.

Can anyone out in GRIDPP-STORAGE advise where on the SE lcgse01 might a
change be hand-done to make IPv6 gridftp work = in lcgse01 handing off to
IPv6-addressed io02?

We actually do run puppet fairly frequently on both & wouldn't want our
change to be undone.... where in a puppet module on our puppet master
we might find the config for gridftp where we need to change it ?

If someone's going to ask "what version of dpm puppet module are you
using", oi, me not know; might it be
/etc/puppetlabs/code/environments/production/modules/dmlite/pkg/lcgdm-dmlite-0.5.5
????

As for other versions,
dpm-1.9.2
dmlite-plugins-hdfs-0.7.8-1.20170221.1131rc
globus-gridftp-server-12.4-1

lcgse01 is 6-OS, io02 is 7-OS

Note that ggus ticket 131613 says IPv6 xrootd works at Bristol!
Again it was in a puppet module - Dr K (nor me!) not know where the config
is, but it works (we're glad!).

Very grateful for advice!

Humble not-know-much puppet/dpm/etc/etc Unit (sorry)
