Dear colleague, Sentio is a new scholarly journal founded and edited by doctoral researchers from the ESRC-funded Doctoral Training Partnership, SeNSS (South East Network for Social Sciences) in the UK. This new peer-reviewed interdisciplinary publication for the social sciences will bring together features, short articles and personal reflections on the research process. The theme of our first issue is ‘validity’. We invite contributors to reflect on the various uses, meanings, and mobilizations of the concept within and across the different social science disciplines. The attached Call for Papers elaborates on possible approaches to this theme and provides instructions for submissions.
