at SOAS on the evening of Friday 11 January, entitled
'Restructuring Life: political, social, and material transformation in post
-conflict, post-disaster Nepal'.

Dr Shneiderman's lecture will be the keynote of a two-day conference,
'Epicentre to Aftermath' on the political and cultural impacts of
earthquakes in South Asia.  Many of the papers presented at this conference
