Hi Paul,

We have evaluated the TSI Reporter Bioassay (Thyretain) and will hopefully be implementing this test next year. We are also currently evaluating their Thyroid Blocking Antibody Reporter Bioassay which would be interesting to see in patient cases known to have episodes of hyperthyroidism followed by hypothyroidism.

Subject: TSH receptor antibodies

Dear Colleagues,

I’m trying to find out if there is an assay which can differentiate between inhibiting and stimulating TSH receptor antibodies. Can anyone help advise?

Many thanks

Paul
