Analytical, innovation and cerebral freelancers support group - Scotland

Freelancers in research, evaluation, policy, innovation, development and analytical entrepreneurs! Working from Scotland? Peer support get-together

Are you a freelancer or remote worker working on ‘high-end’ research, evaluation, policy, problem-solving, innovation, development or analytical products for governments or organisations in other cities or countries?

I’ve set up a monthly get together in Edinburgh so that folks in my situation can find each other; look at the possibility of forming a network; discuss the different co-working spaces and office rental options; chat together about the highs and lows of remote working and provide mutual support to one another.

The second ever gathering is on the 15th January 2019 - come along! There are 28 people in the group so far from across social science, international development, health and technology fields. We want to branch out to other analytical areas - e.g. medicine, environment and beyond! We'll be in the bar area at Monboddo https://www.monboddoedinburgh.co.uk/ for 7.30pm til late on 15th January 2019.

It's a cosy and quiet bar/ restaurant and you can have drinks or order food. The chairs are very comfy and there's level access through the main door.

Cheers, Cathy Baldwin
