Dear colleagues

Are you developing new tools for microstructural analysis or recently came up with some innovative interpretation of microstructures, but would like to have a longer time to present your results and discuss with the audience than the 12 minutes offered in standard talks?

Or maybe you want to show more than what you can fit in a poster???

A PICO session at EGU 2019 in Vienna  is the perfect format for presenting your research in the session TS3.1:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New views of "old" materials - modern approaches in microstructural and textural analysis and interpretation

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For those not familiar with the format, an EGU PICO session consists of 2-minutes “madness” talks followed by an hour of interactive screen discussion with the audience.

It is simply the perfect format of presenting your research if you are interested in having good feedback and intense discussions about your results!!!

As an additional “incentive” for you to submit your abstract to our session, we will have an invited speaker from the submitted abstracts who gets a 12-minutes talk, plus the discussion

Conveners: Luiz Morales (ETH Zürich), Sina Marti (University of Edinburgh) & Rüdiger Kilian (University of Basel)
