Hello everyone, I am new to this industry, and I have been tasked with carrying out an analysis on bursaries using the OFFA Toolkit<https://www.officeforstudents.org.uk/advice-and-guidance/promoting-equal-opportunities/using-evidence-to-improve-access-and-participation-outcomes/financial-support-evaluation-toolkit/financial-support-evaluation-toolkit-using-the-statistical-tool/>. I have stumbled across a potential issue. The toolkit states that the HESA data release (2017) has been designed for this too, providing HESA data for the academic years of 2010/11-2014/5l. In order to assess bursaries, data from HEBSS is required. However, the HESA data for 2010/11-2011/12 is missing data from the required field (Student Support Number (SSN)) to facilitate the link to the HEBSS data. Has anybody stumbled across this issue and or found a solution?? Or, does anybody have experience of this toolkit? If so, do you have any wisdom to share? Thanks in advance!
