This is an exciting opportunity to join a team focussed on delivering services to a high standard to support teaching and research. You will be a proactive individual who welcomes the opportunity to contribute to developments in local collections policy. You will be encouraged to be involved in regional and national groups and to engage with other libraries to explore opportunities for collaborative collection management. You will help to shape the location and arrangement of print collections to meet evolving user needs and to respond when Library buildings are developed as part of the University's extensive programme of Estates projects. You will manage five line reports and a wider team of 35 full-time and part-time staff. With a large team based at the Main Library and off-site Library store, communication and people management skills will be key to maintaining a motivated and effective team. This post is offered on a full-time, open-ended basis. Salary: £40,792 - £48,677 per annum. Closing date: Friday 12th October 2018, 5pm (GMT).
