ARLG LONDON AND SOUTH EAST VISIT TO THE INSTITUTE OF HISTORICAL RESEARCH (IHR) LIBRARY Wednesday 21st November 2018, 2.00 - 4.00 pm. Address: Senate House, Malet Street, London. WC1E 7HU https://www.history.ac.uk/contact Please report to the IHR reception which is on the north side of the colonnade at the base of Senate House. The nearest tube stations are Euston Square, Goodge Street, Warren Street and Russell Square. The IHR library is a reference collection of published primary sources covering the history of Western Europe and its colonial history from the fifth century to the present. Open to all history researchers, it is free to use for university staff and postgraduate students, with low cost membership available for other researchers. The visit will consist of a tour of the Library, an overview of the work of the IHR and School of Advanced Study, a show and tell of some IHR Library collection items and some IHR digital resources. The visit is free and has a maximum of 12 people. Refreshments will not be provided although there is a common room which serves tea.
