Thanks for all the responses, I had positive response back for Aqtsolv (http://www.aqtesolv.com/), and also for AquiferTest8.0 ( https://www.waterloohydrogeologic.com/introducing-aquifertest-8-0) AquiferTest 8.0 in particular looks interesting, specifically with the visualisation options.
