Innovative informal digital learning in disadvantaged contexts
The University of Wolverhampton has a record over two decades of research into the use informal, mobile and social digital technologies to enhance learning among disadvantaged people and communities. This studentship focuses on the exploitation of personal and social digital technologies to extend and enrich educational opportunity. Indicative topics could include refugees and displaced persons; digital technology and gender in development; nomadic communities, endangered languages and cultures; flipped learning; and user-generated resources in the global South. Applications from developing contexts and countries are encouraged and can be considered on the basis of remote supported supervision.
