Dear Colleagues, A PhD position in planning and operating autonomous buses in Transport DTU, Technical University of Denmark, is available from spring 2018. The successful candidate will work in an outstanding research group with competitive salary and benefits. The PhD position is a part of a large research project, LINC, with the participation of a range of national and international partners (e.g. Nobina, IBM, RUC, etc.). In the project, four autonomous busses will be acquired and operated as part of a test-bed in two locations. Several datasets concerning user preferences and operation characteristics of autonomous buses will be collected and offered to the student for developing dynamic operation plans for Autonomous buses.
