We are currently advertising a vacancy for the role of User Experience Team Coordinator. 

 

This is an exciting PT month maternity cover for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and customer focused individual to join the Library and Learning Resources Department, (Canterbury Christ Church University) in Augustine House (Canterbury Campus).

The User Experience Team is responsible for frontline and circulation service delivery, including service desks, managing the study environment, leading the development of promotional and marketing activities, supporting and leading student engagement initiatives and student orientation programmes.

The post holder will co-ordinate the daily operational services, contribute to revising and developing processes and services to ensure that they are efficient and robust and meet users’ needs and expectations. They will be responsible for the supervision, support and performance management of the Library and Information Advisers and Library and Information Student Associates. They will also be taking the functional lead to oversee the planning and implementation of the Department orientation programme for first year students.

The post holder will have experience of working in a library providing customer support service, of supervising a range of staff, and of implementing plans or reviewing services.
