Here is the abstract of a seminar we presented at the recent Overdiagnosis conference, which we are also developing into a paper (https://ebm.bmj.com/content/23/Suppl_2/A1.1). In it, we discuss how probabilistic thinking is at the core of evidence-based medicine.
