Hi I'm writing to invite you to the first meeting of the Higher Education Blended Learning Consortium. This meeting is for universities and colleges who are committed to joining the consortium as well as those interested in finding out more to help in making the decision about joining. This consortium will work in a similar way to the successful FE BLC which in its first three years of working has created around 1500 1 hour interactive learning objects and now involves around half of the sector. http://blc-fe.org/ As with the FE BLC this consortium will work through creating a pooled funding pool which will be spent on developing high quality interactive resources written and developed by academics and learning technologists within the consortium in subject areas democratically chosen by members.
