Please be aware that De Montfort University are advertising for a Lecturer in Foundation Art and Design with a particular emphasis on drawing.

 

The School of Visual and Performing Arts wishes to appoint a part-time (0.5

FTE) Lecturer in Foundation Art and Design, with a particular expertise in

objective drawing and Fine Art processes. The successful lecturer will teach on

the Level 3 Pearson BTEC Foundation programme, and will contribute to the

development of this programme and its broader subject area within the

University. It is expected that s/he with play a leading role in developing the

curriculum in relation to Fine Art within a Foundation setting.

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to inspire and support

learners. S/he will design and deliver effective and varied learning activities and

will be adept in transferring knowledge in the form of objective drawing and

Fine Art skills, methods and techniques.
