*Project Archivist - 'The Art of Selling' - funded by the Archives Revealed programme* The closing date for this position is Sunday 16 September 2018 (end of day) The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust, based at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon near Warwick, holds the largest Archive in the world of historic documentation and photographic material relating to the British motor industry. The Trust has a secured a grant from the ‘Archives Revealed’ programme to catalogue the British Leyland Sales & Press Collection as part of a project entitled ‘The Art of Selling’. This is a unique collection of rare promotional material from a turbulent period in the history of the British motor industry, giving it added historical and social value. We are looking for a qualified Archivist with suitable experience to lead this exciting project. Graduates who have completed the archive course and are now at the dissertation stage of their course are welcome to apply.
