After the grand success of past six editions of FICTA Conference under Springer AISC series, it is matter of pleasure and pride to announce the 7th Edition FICTA-2018: International Conference on Frontiers of Intelligent Computing: Theory and Applications, being organized by Duytan University, Da Nang, Vietnam during November 29-30, 2018. Duy Tan University is the first largest multidisciplinary educational institution in Central Vietnam since 1994. The theme of FICTA conference series focuses on domain of intelligent computing theories and applications to various engineering disciplines like Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Bio-Medical Engineering etc. All accepted and registered papers under this conference will be published in Springer, Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing (AISC) series. Now indexed by: ISI Proceedings, DBLP, Ulrich's, EI-Compendex,  SCOPUS, Zentralblatt Math, MetaPress, Springerlink. http://www.springer.com/series/11156

 

The editorial board expects floating ‘Special Sessions’ to supplement to the regular program of FICTA-2018 in terms of emerging topics of a specific domain of interest. Based on your expertise, academic scholarship, research accomplishments and organizational competencies, I take this opportunity to invite you to organize and conduct a special session on your chosen area of expertise, in any of the tracks related to theme of FICTA-2018.

 

We are therefore writing to invite you to submit a proposal for special session for FICTA-2018 as per the template attached. The general requirements and guidelines for the ‘Special Session Proposal’ are provided below for your ready reference.

 

(1)     Each special session should provide an overview of the state-of-the-art and highlight important research directions in a field of special interest to conference participants. It should be a focused proposal rather than being defined broadly/generally. We therefore expect that there are no overlaps with the regular tracks of FICTA-2018.

(2)     The following should be included in the proposal (not exceeding 02 pages):

(a) Title of the proposed special session along with short abbreviation.

(b) Names/affiliation of the Session Chair(s) (including brief bio and contact info) along with email-id.

(c) Session abstract/theme (should clearly mention the significance of the topic and the rationale of the need for the proposed session).

(d) Topics of Interest

(e) Submission Process (E-Mail submission only)

(3)     The final approval of the proposed session would be based on the novelty and the key area focused along with its multi-disciplinary essence.

(4)     To ensure uniformity in the content, please use the attached template for preparation of the ‘Special Session Proposal’. The standard template would be used for uploading the call for your special session on conference website (after approval).

The decision of approval will be communicated within three days along with detailed procedural guidelines’. Your approved ‘Call for Papers-for Special Session’ would be then uploaded on our conference website.
