Fellow Medieval Archaeology listers,
Those interested in Mediterranean Mediaeval archaeology may find a newly deciphered manuscript useful as a cross-referencing tool, as it contains both visual and textual information pertaining to various aspects of material culture, including pottery. The manuscript originates from the island of Ischia, c. 1444.

Two draft papers, explaining the writing system and translating parts of the manuscript, can be freely downloaded from the preprint website LingBuzz:
1. Linguistic Missing Links: http://ling.auf.net/lingbuzz/003737
2. Linguistically Dating and Locating: http://ling.auf.net/lingbuzz/003808
