Call for Sessions NGM2019

 

The 8^th Nordic Geographers Meeting will take place in Trondheim (June 16 – 19 2019) under the heading Sustainable Geography – Geographies of Sustainability. We warmly invite you to participate and to suggest and organize sessions. NGM2019 offers 4 session formats (90 minutes per slot):

 

·         Oral presentations: max. 15 minutes for individual presentations and time for discussion at the end or between presentations.

·         Panels: short presentations and a subsequent panel discussion with all presenters.

·         Author(s) meets critics: authors of recently published books are brought into conversation with invited panellists.

·         A session format other than the ones mentioned above: please give a description of the suggested format in your session proposal.

 

The deadline for proposal submission is September 20, 2018. To submit proposals for sessions, please go directly to https://kvass.svt.ntnu.no/TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=72M04om2 
or via the conference web site https://www.ntnu.edu/web/geography/dates-and-calls and fill in the form. 

Session proposals are subject to review by the conference committee and decision on session acceptance will be given September 27. Please note that session organizers will be responsible for organizing their session once their session is accepted, including circulating invitations for the session, selecting participants, and session coordination.
