Hi Anona

Can you share the actual lead numbers in the 11 samples to give the List a feel of the significance of the lead concentrations wrt to urban soils we see all the time.

Are they all from similar soils/depths or mixed lithologies/depths?

I'd also like to see how they sit against a comparison (as a first pass) against both C4SL of 'Res without HG', POS-res & POS-park.

Running a site-specific C4SL-type lead RA for a secondary school scenario shouldn't be too problematic. Older students will have a higher BW (and other less conservative parameter) that the usual 1-6 AC (Res) & 4-9 AC (Pos-res) child receptors (Pos-park also uses AC 1-6). Going for a GAC-type assessment based on negligible/minimal risk could be a thankless task as the numbers could get very low.

Do you think the lead is there as a result of 'normal' urban use, or is there a known site trait that could have caused elevated lead?

Has any bio-availability testing been done? This may be worth pursuing.

(I'm using pretty open/loose language and toying with different ways of looking at it, as we would chatting over a coffee).
