Hi,

RELION-3's re-implementation of the MotionCor2 algorithm masks
hot pixels but ignores the defect file. Indeed this might bias
the trajectory to the origin, but I would not worry as long as
you run Bayesian Polishing afterwards; the convergence radius
of Bayeisan Polishing is large.

Bayesian Polishing compares particles with reference projections.
Thus, the effect of fixed pattern noise is smaller than in
reference-free methods.
