Dear All,
For clarity, I am not currently a freelancer so will not be part of the group and will not be officially starting it, I just wanted to raise the idea.

I would suggest that it could be started very quickly by two willing volunteers, but failing that you could arrange a larger meeting at conference time (find the nearest pub the night before the conference?) where you will all be together and decide who will lead it, you could then submit the application to start it at the AGM the following day. 

If that doesn't work you could meet during the conference lunch break or down the pub afterwards, then make the application to start it. You can ask for an announcement to made during the conference as regards to where to meet.

Also while we have a string of freelancers in this thread, I’ll take the opportunity to ask if anyone has some interesting stories of work they have been involved in or stories of the general trials and tribulations of being a Freelance Cultural Heritage Photographer that they might like to share at this year’s conference? I remember Antonia did a talk a couple of years back which I thoroughly enjoyed. We still have a couple of places left for speakers and I think this would be an interesting and potentially amusing subject……

It's just an idea I have meant to get of my chest for a while now, it is my personal opinion and the view on AHFAP help and resources may not be the view of the current committee.
