With apologies for any cross-posting.

On the 2nd of August the University of Birmingham, in partnership with Clicks & Links and Gettrik, will be hosting a workshop on the roles for 3D asset visualisation and asset management technologies within the rail industry.

The main objectives for the day will be to:

  *   “Set the scene” by providing elevator pitches / examples of technologies currently available for use / in use within similar domains;
  *   Identify key industry and academic challenges that visualisation technologies could help to address;
  *   Produce a prioritised ordering of challenge areas for R&D in the field;
  * Connect "challenge owners" with researchers in the relevant fields.

The outcomes of the workshop will be written up and made available to attendees.

The day will start at 10:00 and we aim to be finished by 15:30. Lunch will be provided. The link for registration (via eventbrite) is available at https://tinyurl.com/yd2yqxoh

If your group / organisation would like to be involved in the elevator pitches, please contact [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>

We look forward to welcoming you on the day.

Kind regards,

John
