The School of Sociology at University College Dublin seeks to appoint a temporary teaching fellow in Sociology. The duration of the appointments is 12 months, ideally beginning 3 September 2018. The appointee will be expected to teach the following modules:
New Postgraduate Degree Programmes at UCD Sociology The successful candidates will ideally be a scholar who has completed (or is near to completing) a PhD in Sociology or a cognate discipline and who is actively seeking to publish in peer-reviewed academic outlets. S/he will have experience of teaching at undergraduate level. The teaching fellow is expected to participate actively in the academic life of the School and make a commensurate contribution to School administration Fixed Salary: €31,588 per annum (non-scale) Closing Date: 17.00hrs (GMT) on Monday, 30 July 2018 Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
