Public Affairs Assistant | Temporary – 3 months | London

 

Are you looking for an exciting temporary challenge in scientific research and public relations? Our client, a prestigious scientific society based in central London, is looking for a Temporary Public Affairs Assistant for at least three months.

 

You will be:

·         Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally within a Scientific discipline.

·         Interested in STEM policy issues and aware of the political landscape.

·         Organised with good communication skills

·         IT literate

·         Experienced with office work ideally.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

 

·         Monitoring policy making, identifying issues and circulating the information to relevant maintained contacts.

·         Creating content for blogs, newsletters and social media.

·         Assist with regional events.

·         Provide administrative support.

·         Producing monthly reports.
