Hi Andi
Baba Brinkman calls himself the only ‘peer reviewed rapper’ see
http://www.bababrinkman.com/ . In a completely different vein (more sciart than scicomm), Sarah Angliss has done a lot of work with scientific ideas
http://www.sarahangliss.com/ . There was a recent project in manchester creating a robot orchestra see
http://www.robotorchestra.co.uk .
Hope this helps
Best
Simon

Subject: [PSCI-COM] Music as a public engagement or science communication medium
Dear all
(Usual apologies for the multiple JISC Mail cross postings!)
Does anyone have experience of / know of examples of either PE or sci comms work that has used music as a medium to help people engage with a scientific or technical concept; that in of itself is not related
to music?
Any publicly available examples you can direct me to would be most appreciated.
Best
Andi
