Hello Everyone,
As you may know, Leeds Museums and Galleries have been charged with disposing of Leeds City Council’s school loan collection. We still have some bird taxidermy available (please see attached) if anyone is interested in adding to their collections.
The pieces are moderate to good taxidermy with no provenance. They have not been tested for arsenic (and therefore might be covered in it) but are all contained in good-quality Perspex boxes.
We will consider any good home – from museums to universities, schools and other educational establishments. Please get in touch ASAP with Nadine Loach (cced) if you would like to take any material, the building where the collection is
being stored is due to be pulled down on 31st July.
With best wishes,
Clare
