Sir Henry Jones Museum, Conwy seeks new trustees and particularly a Treasurer
Duties include
* Monitor and report the financial position at meetings of the trustees (balance sheet, cash flow, fundraising, performance, financial health etc.).
* Arrange for money received (cash and cheques) is paid into the account promptly and payments to creditors made within a reasonable time.
* Ensure that there is a float in the till at the beginning of the season and ensure that money from the till is banked on a regular basis.
* Oversee the production of necessary financial reports/returns, accounts ready for an external audit.
* Update the financial details as required on the Charity Commission website.
* Take the lead role in applying for grants e.g. Heritage Lottery Funding and others, ensuring that grants are spent according to the conditions agreed upon.
