Activities involve frequency-domain and time-domain spectroscopy of organic nanostructures attached to rare gas clusters or XUV free electron laser experiments in the gas phase (for further information see www.nanophysics.uni-freiburg.de). In addition, there is room for own ideas and independent projects. The initial duration ends a 9/30/2020 and is expected to be extended. The position can in particular be used to continue an academic career. Applicants should be highly motivated, have a PhD in Physics or Physical Chemistry and a strong background in laser spectroscopy methods and molecular beam techniques.
