*The Open Preservation Foundation (OPF) has today published its new
strategy, setting out the long-term direction for the organisation.*

The strategy establishes the OPF’s position in the digital preservation
landscape and guides the tasks, tools, and projects that the Foundation
will address.

New core values define the Foundation’s fundamental beliefs and how the
organisation conducts itself. The strategy focuses on developing the OPF
reference toolset and roadmaps for the open source digital preservation
tools under its stewardship. It describes the activities to build on the
Foundation’s best practice and knowledge sharing programme.
