The University of Buckingham is looking to appoint an External Examiner for the following Economics modules within the School of Humanities: • Maths for Economists • Maths for Economists coursework • Macroeconomic Policy • Welfare economics • Macroeconomic Theory • QM1 • QM2 • Money, Banking and Financial Markets • Public Sector Economics • Dissertation • Econometrics • Econometrics coursework • Statistics for Business Economics The role requires examiners to approve exam questions and moderate scripts for exams held in June and December, attend the main Exam Boards in July and January, and submit a formal report biannually. Appointments are normally four years, and we would like the candidate to be in place ready for our December 2018 diet of examinations.
