September 22nd sees a one-day conference at Exeter University dedicated to medical English: the 3rd International Medical English Conference. 

Keynotes: Dr Tudor Chinnah and Professor John Skelton.

The program is varied and offers both practical and theoretical sessions. The event will be of interest to teachers, researchers and training providers involved in English for medical purposes. 

There will be a particular focus on the training and language needs of international staff working for the NHS, and on the OET, the Occupational English Test, now accepted as proof of language competency for doctors and nurses. More info and to register at www.medicalenglishconference.com
