Hi all, We have been using UltrAufoil for a few weeks now with great success in terms of stability and reproducibility. However also reproducible are gold particles in the holes (see picture of an extreme case). These are certainly great for tomography not so much for SPA. Anyway is there a specific way to clean these grids in order to get rid of the unwanted little buggers? We usually glow discharge our grids with the Pelco easyglow system and its default settings in air, one side only. Regards Eric ----------------- Assoc.
