TRANSFORMING CARE CONFERENCE 2019: CALL FOR SESSION CONVENORS
JUNE 24-26TH 2019, COPENHAGEN

Dear colleague,

The organizing committee of the Transforming care 2019 conference invites expressions of interest from colleagues willing to act as session convenors, see attachment. The Transforming care conference series focusses on early child education and care, care for adults with disabilities and long-term care for older people. The 2019 conference will take place in Copenhagen June 24-26th and will have the overall theme of: Changing priorities: The making of care policy and practices.

Convenors can propose either a Symposium (proposing a theme and up to 4 authored papers) or a Thematic panel (proposing a theme to be included in the Call for papers that will follow the selection of sessions). The deadline for session proposals is September 15th, 2019. The organizing committee will send out information about accepted proposals by October 15th, 2019.

Call for papers will be sent out November 1st, with deadline January 31st 2019.

-          Bent Greve, Professor in Welfare State Analysis, Roskilde University, Denmark: Social investment: Good for all in need of care?
-          Martin Knapp, Professor of Social Policy, London School of Economics, England: Economics and priority-setting
