Dear colleagues,

The provisional conference programme for ‘Aftermath: German and Austrian cultural responses to the end of World War I’ is now online, and registration is now open:

https://www.kcl.ac.uk/events/event-story.aspx?id=fb3680d1-3969-4b42-9db6-253a4e8a420a

The conference, which takes place from 13-15 September 2018, is jointly funded by the MHRA and King’s College London. The programme includes a guided visit to the ‘Aftermath’ exhibition which is currently showing at Tate Britain, as well as a panel discussion with the curators. There will also be a public screening of G. W. Pabst’s anti-war film Kameradschaft (1931), organised in collaboration with the German Screen Studies Network.

If you would like to attend, or if you have any questions about the event, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best wishes,

Catherine
