Below is some information about a conference with the Livingmaps Network are organising in partnership with the Centre for Cultural Stuies Research at UEL . this is NOT an academic conference,
we are attempting to re- create some of the intellectual excitement of the late Sixties political counter culture but focused around contemporary issues. Early bird tickets are available up to July 30.
RETHINKING THE LEGACY OF 1968
A day of discussions and debates bringing together different generations of writers, researchers and activists to consider the political and cultural legacies of 1968, their bearing on the future prospects for a more democratic, equal and participatory society and for modes of research in the arts, humanities and social sciences that can underpin it.
