We are very excited to announce the launch of our new
Science Communication Building Blocks training courses!
Designed by the team at UWE Bristol’s
Science Communication Unit (SCU) and its renowned Science Communication postgraduate programmes, the
Science Communication Building Blocks training courses provide a unique opportunity to bring cutting-edge expertise to your staff,
students and teams.
You can choose from a wide selection of three-hour sessions that provide training in contemporary science
communication and public engagement techniques. These sessions can either be run individually, or built into a bespoke science communication training programme that will run over a day or more.
Whether it’s
running engaging events that showcase research, working with schools,
writing about science for the public or promoting research through social media, there’s a training course that will provide the skills required. We aim for those who attend our courses to leave us with creative science communication ideas and
the confidence required to take the next steps. We have courses suitable for those new to science communication as well as those looking to develop their skills further and learn new ideas from the contemporary field.
The Science Communication Building Blocks courses are delivered by a team of experienced trainers who teach on
undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as providing continuing professional development training courses for a range of organisations such as universities, research councils and businesses.
Please take a look at our
website and
CPD page for more detailed information on the variety of sessions that we offer and how to apply.
Apologies for any cross-posting.
