Journal of Literary and Cultural Disability Studies has been accepted for inclusion in SCOPUS.

The Content Selection & Advisory Board (CSAB), has advised that Journal of Literary and Cultural Disability Studies has been accepted for inclusion in SCOPUS, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature.

The reviewer comments are copied below:
This journal impresses across the board, from the editorial policy and homepage to online access and citations. It fully merits inclusion in SCOPUS.

+ The journal consistently includes articles that are scientifically sound and relevant to an international academic or professional audience in this field.
+ The journal has scholarly relevance as evidenced by citations in other journals currently covered by Scopus.
+ This title addresses a subject area not properly covered by an existing journal.
+ The journal has clear aims and scope/journal policies that are consistent with the journal's content.

Focusing on representations of disability, the Journal of Literary & Cultural Disability Studies (JLCDS) publishes a wide variety of textual analyses that are informed by disability theory and, by extension, experiences of disability.

It is an essential disability studies journal for scholars whose work concentrates on the portrayal of disability. More broadly, it is instrumental in the interdisciplinarity of literary studies, cultural studies, and disability studies.
