Dear Colleagues

Ahead of the imminent cfp for the University of East London’s 4th Affect & Social Media conference, which will take place on 7th Nov 2018, some people on this network might be interested in this dialogue on affect theory related themes between N. Katherine Hayles and Tony D. Sampson (the conference organiser), published last week in the open access Capacious journal.

Affect and Social Media: Emotion, Mediation, Anxiety and Contagion, edited by Tony, Darren Ellis and myself, and based on work presented at the first three A&SM events, will be published by Rowman and Littlefield International in July.

Take care,

Stephen
