Hi Forrest,

Yes, I think so... I'll look into it more.

Thank you!

Hi,

A quick google search of your error message yields a few results:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/48531006/wxpython-this-program-needs-access-to-the-screen?utm_medium=organic&utm_source=google_rich_qa&utm_campaign=google_rich_qa

https://wiki.wxpython.org/wxPythonVirtualenvOnMac

They all seem to occur as a result of a python installation via anaconda. Perhaps this is causing your problem?

Regards,
Forrest

Hi everyone,

If I can somehow get help on this, that'd be great.

Basically, fsleyes runs fine through the GUI. The problem for me is starting it up through the terminal. Whenever I type in the command "fsleyes" into the terminal, the following error message pops up:

This program needs access to the screen. Please run with a Framework build of python, and only when you are logged in on the main display of your Mac.

How do I go about resolving this? It's not a huge issue, but it is fairly concerning that I cannot get fsleyes to work directly from the terminal. Here is a link to the image if it helps:

Thanks so much
