Liverpool University Press is delighted to announce it will be publishing Archives on behalf of the British Records Association (http://www.britishrecordsassociation.org.uk/)  from 2019.

 

The British Records Association (BRA) is a charity which aims to promote the preservation, understanding, accessibility and study of our recorded heritage for the public benefit. It is open to anyone interested in records and archives whether local historians, academics, professional archivists, or custodians and owners of collections, or simply those who are curious about the record of our past.

 

Archives focuses on the needs of archive users (both active and prospective) by providing information about the whereabouts, interpretation and historical significance of records in all media. It publishes essays, commentaries, case studies and reports on all aspects of the care, preservation, accessibility and use of archives.

 

The first issue under the new publishing agreement will be published in Spring 2019 and, for the first time, will be fully available online. Online access to the last 13 years of the journal will also be available to all subscribers and members of the Association.
