Healthcare Value – a five-day accredited postgraduate short course led by Professor Sir Muir Gray

9 – 13 July 2018 in Oxford

Register HERE: www.conted.ox.ac.uk/healthcarevalue

•	How will we close the gap between need and demand for healthcare on the one hand and limited resources on the other?
•	What is meant by the optimal use of resources?
•	What is meant by the term quality and how does it relate to value?
•	What is meant by population based healthcare rather than bureaucracy based care?
•	How would you assess the culture of an organisation?
•	What is meant by the term system and how does it differ from a network?

Led by Professor Sir Muir Gray, this short course will help you to answer these questions. By the end of the course, you will not only understand value, both the value for populations from the best allocation and use of resources and individual personal value, but also be equipped to apply this to the service in which you work and the population you serve.

It is relevant for:
•	people who pay for or manage healthcare, including clinicians, researchers, and other experts who need to understand value as well as cost effectiveness
•	educators
•	patient representatives
•	people in the health tech and pharmaceutical industries for whom the selling point in future will be value not just cost effectiveness
