+1 for Extensis Portfolio here. We use it to manage and share all our image collections: from high res files of paintings and drawings to images for press and publicity, as well as images from our institutional archive.

We love the NetPublish feature, which is a really neat, fast way of sharing sub-collections of images (for a publication, exhibition etc) with groups of co-workers.

Best, Tom

Hi Ilana,
You might want to head over to the Collections Trust DAMS pages on their website.

There are lots of solutions, so take a look at a few. I would recommend looking at ResourceSpace, an open source solution used by the Royal Collection for example.

Or Extensis Portfolio

Hi,

I recommend Capture.co.uk   which is customisible and used by many photolibraries in various spheres of the industry.

Although I occasionally write blogs for them, so am not completely neutral, I have heard various good reports from users of the software.

Julian

Hi everyone!

Wondering if anyone can make any suggestions for me?

We're looking for a new solution for our photo library and need
something that can help us organise our images in a way that is GDPR
compliant and that can accurately record consents and limitations on
use, AND of course, that is easy for people to find and use images!

Is anyone using something that ticks these boxes or has come across a
great way to manage an image library?

Thanks!
Ilana
