I am facing a problem in purchasing of U-doped standard glasses (like CN2/IRMM541, CN5/IRMM 540R) for our newly established Fission Track Thermochronology Lab at Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, INDIA. Now these standard glasses are not available from IRMM, Belgium,

 I contacted Dr. Thomas Linsinger and got reply e-mail (quoting his reply) " I regret to inform you that the sales of IRMM-540R and IRMM-541 was stopped. Stricter rules on the distribution of uranium containing materials by the Belgian authorities mean that we could have distributed the materials only under a nuclear safeguards regime, even if the amount of uranium is minute. "
