Hello Laila,
There is the Catching Confidence tool http://www.learningandwork.org.uk/resource/catching-confidence/, some good resources here.
Janet, thank you, I didn’t know about the Bringing Literacy to Life Resources, will take a look at those.
Best wishes,
Naeema

Subject: Monitoring soft outcomes for lower level ESOL

Dear all,

Would anyone be kind enough to share any monitoring tools they use to measure soft outcomes such as:
-level of confidence
- feeling comfortable in your environment
- feeling welcome in your neighbourhood
- feeling informed enough about local services

I am particularly interested in tools which assess lower level ESOL learners (from pre-entry to E2).

Besides the usual before and after surveys, are there any other tools one could use please? Thank you
