We invite contributions to Baltic Worlds' Special Section on

Challenges and opportunities for livelihoods and businesses in coastal areas, archipelagos, and islands in the Baltic Sea Region (BSR).


Special section editors: Associate Professor Paulina Rytkönen (Södertörn University) and Dr Nadir Kinossian (Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography).


Papers can be of both empirical and theoretical nature and can address the following aspects of living, working, and conducting businesses in the BSR:

Deadlines

Submission of abstracts                      15th of June 2018

Note of acceptance of abstract:              21st of June

Submission of full manuscripts:             1st of October
Final revised manuscripts:                     1st of February
Special issue release:                           April 2019.

 

Please submit abstracts of not more than 250 words to paulina.rytkonen@sh.se and N_Kinossian@ifl-leipzig.de by the 15th of June, 2018
